Project Process Architecture (PPA™)
and PMI's PMBOK® Guide

The Center's Project Process Architecture (PPA™) was first developed in 1989 to enable our clients to move through the project lifecycle at an accelerated pace, without sacrificing the key steps necessary to produce high quality products. The PPA™ is a proven methodology that incorporates 24 basic steps, organized into four stages. The methodology is scalable and applicable for small and large projects. The Center for Project Management (CPM) adapts the application of the PPA™ to unique client requirements.

The cornerstone of CPM’s education curriculum is the PPA™. For those clients that have an interest in insuring the project management training and consulting investment being made also aligns with the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide), CPM has the answer.

CPM is an official PMI® Global Registered Education Provider. Our project management curriculum prepares learners for the Project Management Institute’s PMP® Certification.

The PMBOK® Guide is a body of project management material provided by the nonprofit, international project management organization known as the Project Management Institute, or PMI®. CPM’s PPA™ curriculum not only aligns with the PMBOK® Guide material, the PPA™ also provides crucial project management processes missing from the early stages of most business and IT projects.
